Tighter lacing didn't help. By Kath the Teacher from Saint Louis, MO on 11/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight Best Uses: Gym, Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've worn Saucony athletic shoes for years without experiencing any problems whatsoever. However, for the first time, I found these running shoes to be too wide. Even lacing them tighter did not help much and I had to return them. They look great and I was very sorry they didn't fit me well enough to keep.
Saucony Progrid Triumph 5 Running Shoes By Anne-get-your-gun from Lockwood, NY on 09/23/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction Best Uses: Pavement, Trails, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've actually been using this product for most of the last couple years or whenever this version came out for the Triumph. I'm always nervous when new version comes out, it may not perform as well, so I look online to find the version until I exhaust options and have to version-up. As an older runner, I have to have great sneakers, these are perfect in that they provide so much shock absorption and I never blister with them, ever. They are heavier but that is part of the purpose. If I'm on a track I use something lighter. I have a marathon coming up, I'll be wearing these for that for sure!
By Busy Mom from Wyoming on 09/16/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Super comfortable shoes, I have flat feet so they will get cramps if I don't have the right fit when running. No problem with these shoes.

Replacing Asics with Saucony By Running in MA from Boston, MA on 08/31/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Trails, Wet Conditions Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been on a desperate search for a replacement to my Asics Gel Kinsei which would set me back 180.00 . I run at least 5 times a week so I am passionate about finding the right shoe.. and this is it. I would say it is one of the best running shoes I have tried in a long time. If you have high arches this is a good shoe.. esp. for the price. I need to stock up on Saucony Progrid Triumph 5!! They are awesome.

Love the comfort of these shoes! By Julie from Menomonee Falls, WI on 07/18/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Cons: Not crazy about shoe lace Best Uses: Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Basically use them for running. Most runs are 3 to 4 miles. Love the comfort of these shoes especially since I'm mostly running outside. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the shoe laces. Could be thicker and less nylony so they stay tied.
