By Chris the cross country guy from ohio on 06/08/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Trails Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I run track and Cross Country for my high school. I have foot problems, but I really love running, cross country. I tried a pair of New Balance, and when I changed back to these shoes, I felt an immediate difference. I won't run in anything else ever again.
Saucony shoes that don't Suac! By Triple G from Aiken, SC on 05/31/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Impact resistant, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Cross training, Gym Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This pair replaced a set of high end New Balance sneakers
This is not my 1st set of Saucony Grids
Only buy shoes that come in wide widths
I gravitate to top of the line sneakers for only these brands: Saucony, Asiscs, New Balance, Brooks
You could use these for running as they would prevent any rolling of foot for those worried about Pronating and Supaniting of the feet.
Me I choose to use these exclusively for my workouts. I can run on equipment or climb on stationary machines for long periods of time.
Best of all since I prefer free weights vs. any machine these "Grids" offer tremendous support and balance for some heavy lifting.
At this price point you would be FOOLISH not to invest in this quality of a sneaker
By runthis from michigan on 05/28/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Good Traction, Stable Best Uses: dirt road, Pavement, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I put a lot of miles on my shoes so my legs take a toll. These shoes keep me aligned and comfortable on longs runs. I've run in them the past 3 years, and they are my "go-to" shoe.
By dfmock from Illinois on 05/20/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I highly reccomend this shoe if you have back pain and/or over pronation. Over pronation is when your ankle tends to collapse inward as your foot meets pavement. The firm sidewalls of the heel area are important for this and this shoe does it all.

one of the best shoes I have worn By Maria from Greenfield, Ohio on 05/19/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Trails Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great shoe. My son and I both wear this style of saucony shoes. He is a high school runner with flat feet, and over pronation. He runs 5-7 miles almost daily. He loves these shoes and has not used anything else since he tried them. I have flat feet and numerous foot problems, also due to over pronation. These shoes are the only shoes that I will wear for daily use. I have recommended them to everyone I know.
By KidsandDogs from CT on 05/19/2009 Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have many pairs of Saucony running shoes and love them, so I thought I would buy them for my sons. Even with a Wide pair they were VERY narrow, and at least a size small. Very sturdy shoe, but for a narrow foot and heel.

Good cushioning and stiff sole do well on uneven pavements, trails. Excellent buy. Not for a low arch.
By Dr L from Fairfax VA on 04/27/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Saucony shoes are simply wonderful. Delighted that STP carries them. The sizing question is tricky because running shoes which fit are a size to a size and a half bigger than dress shoes.
