By dtd from Seattle, WA on 09/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stabilize feet, They breathe well Best Uses: Running and walking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk long distances and have now taken up walking. These shoes were recommended for people who pronate. Stabil Grid 6 are very good for helping relieve this problem.
By Sauconey Fan from Piseco NY on 09/28/2009 Cons: Heel disintegrating, Shoe very stiff and rigid, Toe Box narrow Best Uses: Treadmill workout Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a long time runner (30+ years) and have been a Sauconey fan for almost all of those years. I buy their running shoes because they are well constructed and usually combine the support and cushioning I need as well as a wide toe box. This model was disappointing in all of those areas. The most surprising aspect, however, is the disintegration of the heel which leaves a black soot like mark on rugs and other items against which the shoe rubs immediately after use. Although I have commonly experienced wear of the heel I have never experienced disintegration before. I am still a Sauconey fan and will continue to buy their shoes. After all, one bad experience out of more than forty purchases isn't a bad track record.
By Ann from CT on 09/23/2009 Cons: Had to return them, Next size not available, Ran small for me Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ran small for me - width and length
By dog walker from NY on 08/17/2009 Pros: Excellent fit, Good pronation support, Long life, Wide width correct Cons: Not made anymore, Somewhat expensive Best Uses: Everyday use, fitness walking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Best shoe I have found to use with my orthotics. Great support for pronation and bunions. The wide toe box width is appropriate without the heel being too wide. With this shoe and my orthotics, I have been able to reverse any foot pain and avoid surgery.
BEST SHOW ON EARTH FOR PRONATORS By Laurabelle from Seattle, WA on 08/17/2009 Pros: Perfect heel fit, Perfect shaped toe box, Plenty of cushion, Snug yet comfortable fit, Support without stiffness Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I run daily and being a severe pronator I especially need maximum support. I have been running in the Stabil for 15 years and have tried many other supposed Motion Control shoes and none of them fit and perform like this style of the Stabil.

She was a top runner in college, and she has keep running after graduating. She had a pair of these shoes last year, and she loves them, so I got her another pair of them.
