Waaaay too big
By Erik - Ski teacherVerified Reviewer from Upstate, NY on 01/08/2008
Cons:
Incredibly oversized
Describe Yourself:
Competitive Athlete
Fit:
Feels too big
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
When I took these out of the packaging, I was astonished to see how large they were! I ordered a Men's Large, and this looked more like an XXL! It was 8" longer in the inseam than my other thermal bottoms made by other manufacturers, and it was about 3"-4" larger in the waist (I am guessing 40"-42" waist)

Living on a farm, I still work outside a lot in the winter, these are perfect. They wick away moisture and keep you warm without feeling heavy or restricting movement.

Saw someone's review and took their advice and ordered a size smaller for my husband. They fit beautifully. Really nicely made. Soft, lightweight yet warm. Just the ticket!

Versatile in black
By Outdoor enthusiast from Piedmont NC on 12/30/2007
Pros:
Comfortable, Good fit in larger size, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Competition, Cycling
Describe Yourself:
Weekend Warrior
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I opted for the XL size; I suppose my "normal" size would be a large. The extra "roominess" is a good thing, still snug, but not overly so. The black is versatile as a "tight" when worn under shorts, very useful in cool/cold weather cycling, greatly expanding workout ambient conditons. Extremely comfortable, you hardly know you're wearing it (except for the welcoming additional warming protecive layer).

Runs big, and is more of a lightweight than a midweight. Very comfortable and warm. Would buy again.
