It gives me just the right amount of warmth with out getting too hot.
I have many of these-- great for sports too.
By Senior MG from Chapel Hill, NC on 10/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Love the color, Stylish, Warm Cons: Fabric picks too easily Best Uses: As a stylish top, Cycling, Layering Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this product as a layer to add warmth when hiking and as a single layer with accessories for a casual dinner. I loved the purple color but the fabric picked too easily and now doesn't look great after only 2 wearings. The Patagonia and REI products in the same style are better quality but they don't have the good colors always.

By Atlanta Ski Bunny from Atlanta on 12/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Feels rather large. The smallest size was a small (6-8). I am a size 2 and it is rather big. It is pretty warm so I may still layer it under my larger ski gear.
Satisfactory enough to keep By JP from Boston on 12/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have collected several layering tops over the years for hiking and skiing. This one feels a little light for a mid-weight and the sleeves feel a bit short but, for the price and quality, it stayed in the 'keeper' pile.
