Durable attractive bag to go By Ramblin' Steve from Phillipsburg, NJ on 09/28/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Gym bag, Short Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A durable gym bag that can be used for for short travel. Strong heavyweight dernier nylon material can take a lot of use and show little wear. Zippers are strong.
By liniowa from Iowa City, IA on 09/13/2009 What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Has many nice features. The one draw back is that it is almost impossible to get water bottle in the holder. That is why I gave it a 4.
Decent Bag, but Quality Has Fallen By Nickname from Boston, MA on 09/12/2009 Pros: Easy to Transport, Lightweight Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am replacing the same bag I bought about 3 years ago. However, the new model seems to have "cut corners". The carry handle padding has virtually disappeared and inner liners are cheaper. Still a decent gym bag for the price.
Nothing special + defective By romath from Bozeman, MT on 08/31/2009 Pros: Easy to Transport, Large Capacity Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bottle didn't fit in mesh holder. I prefer bags that stand up a bit better on their own and have 3/4 top zip, with top going back, rather than parallel zip that opens relatively narrow section and flops the side. Can't tell from description, but shoe bag is enclosed nylon holder that opens to one netted side compartment. It takes up a fair portion of space inside bag without being directly reachable from the top.

High Sierra doesn't let me down By yumyumdeena from Richmond, VA on 08/27/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport Best Uses: Gym bag, Short Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my husband's gym bag. He notes that it JUST fits inside the lockers, so be warned. I purchased it based on other reviews. It has good organization. The big foam comfort pad on the shoulder strap seems a bit overdone for the bag's size, and the separate inside pocket for wet items or shoes is a bit thin, but that can be good (collapses if not in use) or bad (if filled with a soaked swimsuit). He uses it mainly for spin class, and likes the the separate shoe compartment, pockets for smaller items & toiletries, and the bungee strap for his damp towel after leaving the gym. Although the off-centered U-shaped zipper seems a bit odd, he is overall pleased. We have HighSierra luggage and are always impressed with their quality and organizational goodies built into their products. I might get the other color for myself. This bag would make a good weekend getaway bag too if you are a light packer.
By Trail guy from Aspen, CO on 08/22/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Gym runs, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great bag for daily gym use. Shoe compartment is tight for size 12 running shoes, but they will fit. Really a perfect bag.
High Sierra Water Bottle Duffel Bag By Joe from Cleveland, OH on 08/12/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
By Wayne from Alexandria, VA on 07/20/2009 Pros: Durable, Sized for convenience Best Uses: Airline Travel, Short Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The bag is the perfect size for a change of clothes, or a trip to the gym. Construction is good, and plenty of bells and whistles for storing stuff in and on the bag.
The included water bottle was of lesser quality so went into the recycling box right away.
Great features at this price By Gwen with 2 active boys from Seattle, WA on 07/07/2009 Pros: Easy to Transport, Large Capacity Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice bag for the price. I will take heed about the weak seam in the shoe compartment and try not to abuse it. The water bottle carrier elastic is so tight, it's hard to get a bottle in/out, but I imagine it will stretch out with use. I would call this a gym bag with a lot of great features. It's too small for weekend travel, unless you live in the tropics.
