By Shopie from Anchorage AK on 09/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice piece for the money, but if you plan to wear it zipped up, the neck is too long, it covers the chin and if you roll it down it's too thick.
By THE shopper from redwood city, ca on 05/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Hiking, Layering Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I could live in this shirt. It is soft and warm on chilly days. Absolutley no itch. I wear it with jeams to run errands in. I hike in it. I am loving the thumbholes in the sleeves. I'm sure that will pass. I don't like the stripes down the sides of the sleeves and body. Icebreaker is the only brand to wear for me.
By 50yr old skiier from Australia from Gold Coast, Australia on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Gym, Layering, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Absolutely love this top. I already have another icebreaker top but in plain black and this one is a lot more stylish. I was already in love with the icebreaker products but this one is a great fit and beautiful colour along with all the other good points that come with this brand. Can't wait to wear it skiing in Colorado in December.
Just what I was looking for. By Monique from Chapel Hill, NC on 08/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a wool layer for outdoor winter photography field work, and for dogsledding trips. I use it as my second layer with a vest or sweater for the third layer.
Icebreaker is my new favorite brand! By BB from Denver, CO on 07/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Based on other reviews, I bought a large (I'm usually between a small and medium). It's a nice, roomy fit for casual wear. For more active pursuits, it fits very well over a small 200 base layer and another 260 medium mid-layer without being restrictive. The thumb holes, tall neck, and longer torso length are great!
The real thing is better than picture~ By Rvr2mtn from Salem, Oregon on 07/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Competition, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work in an office and then scream to the river to dragon boat. This is something I can wear to work with a suit jacket, then shed the jacket and head to the river or even ski. The combination of sage and blue is unusual and beautiful. I anticipate living in this! Love the zippered neck too. Zip it when still, once active, unzip for a little cool down. Really beautiful.
Wonderful--Wore it nonstop in Alaska By Powerbiz from Alexandria, VA on 07/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Competition, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt is so comfortable its comforting. Wore it layered in all kinds of weather during extended trip in Alaska (in July). Wicks, stays clean for days if you layer it. The high zip neck is warm but not tight. Looks great too and great price. Only questions is if it will hold up in the wash.
