I wanted a well made bag but one that was larger than most purses I could use on a daily basis.
Loaded it weighed like a small suitcase, but a beautiful suitcase I may say.
It just wasn't what I needed.

Nice bag, but not for me. The color was nice and it seemed very sturdy and stylish. I returned it, however, because the buckles on the side were a bit more prominent than I thought they would be, giving it an overall effect that did not seem to be for me but would probably be great for someone else.

I'd hoped (really hoped) to finally be able to swap out my collegiate-esqe Timbuktu messenger with this bag. And while this tote carried all that I carry on a daily basis (a lot!)...there just wasn't enough room for those things that I seem to add at the end of the day for overnight reviewing. Truly a beautiful bag, one that just didn't work this time for me.

It falls perfectly between underarm and waist, not at hip level, which most male designed bags seem to hit. BUT, very heavy even when empty. (FYI I am a 40-something, fit and active professional, about 5'5".) This bag will not fit a laptop plus its accessories comfortably and allow much more besides keys, your phone and maybe a flat folder - too small. What I am looking for is a professional yet feminine bag to hold my laptop and its accessories, some paperwork, pens, phone, some fruit, bottled water, sunglasses (ie briefcase + purse). While is pretty enough to be it, the function is not quite there. I am sad to return this. The hunt continues...

It's very attractive. It holds all of my work materials plus some knitting. The only shortcomings are the lack of enough little pockets and the fact that it's tough to find stuff at the bottom of the front pocket.
