Beautiful but not quite right By Lynelle from Denver on 01/24/2009 Pros: Attractive, Easy Access, Good Organization, Good Strap Length, Great Color, High Quality Cons: Too heavy, Too small for laptop Best Uses: Everyday, Office Describe Yourself: Career, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Well crafted, beautiful, stays open and upright. It falls perfectly between underarm and waist, not at hip level, which most male designed bags seem to hit. BUT, very heavy even when empty. (FYI I am a 40-something, fit and active professional, about 5'5".) This bag will not fit a laptop plus its accessories comfortably and allow much more besides keys, your phone and maybe a flat folder - too small. What I am looking for is a professional yet feminine bag to hold my laptop and its accessories, some paperwork, pens, phone, some fruit, bottled water, sunglasses (ie briefcase + purse). While is pretty enough to be it, the function is not quite there. I am sad to return this. The hunt continues...
Wonderfully versatile bag By Teacherlady from Seattle on 01/19/2009 Pros: Attractive, Good Organization, Good Strap Length, Great Color, High Quality Best Uses: Everyday, Office Describe Yourself: Career, Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This bag is lovely and capacious. It's very attractive. It holds all of my work materials plus some knitting. The only shortcomings are the lack of enough little pockets and the fact that it's tough to find stuff at the bottom of the front pocket.
By Linda from Pacifica,CA on 01/14/2009 Pros: Attractive, Easy Access, Enough Compartments, Good Organization, Good Strap Length, Great Color, High Quality Best Uses: Everyday, Office, Traveling Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this bag as my work bag. While it has a computer compartment, I use that area to hold forms that I need. I tote it around 3 hospitals on a daily basis and I am in love with it. Today I got paged three times by people who wanted to know where I got it. Of course, I said STP. It stands up on its own and holds apples, water, wallet, phone, forms and still looks good. The leater is soft and tough. I bought a second one in green. First one is purple.

By Shopper from Bucks County from Eastern, PA on 01/12/2009 Pros: Attractive, Easy Access, Enough Compartments, Good Organization, Good Strap Length, Great Color, High Quality Best Uses: Everyday, Going Out, Office, Traveling Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: What a beautiful tote! Classic, sophisticated style, yet sturdy! I can't say enough positive things about it. Note: mine is black leather, so I can't speak for the suede currently on sale, but it's heavy-duty, and sure to weather the elements for years to come. Many compartments, including a padded one for a laptop, and the contrast (silvery-beige) lining makes it easy to see its contents. A zip across the top keeps everything secure. Would be great for daily wear, but I have conferences and travel in mind for it.
Substantial Style-Incredible Bargain $ By Artsy Alice from Midwest USA on 12/16/2008 Pros: Attractive, Enough Compartments, Functional Fashionable, Good Organization, High Quality, Rugged but Stylish Cons: Leather style is wider, Suede style is taller Best Uses: Everyday, Laptop computer carry all, Office, Running Errands, Traveling Describe Yourself: Classic, Fashionable, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ellington Leather, Nylon or Canvas Bags are exceptional quality with timeless design. Traditional, functional and fashionable. They never go out of style and indeed have a style of form with function. Design is always well conceived to be utilitarian but stylish. They are quiet and elegant instead of loud and trendy with logos and bells and whistles - instead they whisper use me - i get better with age. Always an excellent investment.
Nice, but straps not adjustable By little lady with laptop from Cambridge MA on 11/21/2008 Pros: Attractive, Easy Access, Enough Compartments, Good Organization Best Uses: Everyday, Office Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice, stylish handbag with padded laptop compartment - unusual. I also like the proportion of its width to height. But the straps are not adjustable, and too long for a petite like me. When I carry it as a tote, the bottom of the bag almost touches the floor, so I have to return it. If you are a few inches taller than I am, it might work for you.
