Feel like this skirt might slide off! By Deborah from Chicago on 08/10/2009 Pros: Nice Color, Nice Fabric Cons: Thin waistband, Waistband too stretchy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Pretty skirt (I ordered the blue), like the diagonal ruffles...but just did not look good on me at all. I think the waistband is completely wrong...it's a very thin, very stretchy elastic that stretches easily...much too easily. Reminds me of a child's pajama bottoms! I had this feeling the skirt may fall down around my ankles with a gentle pull from a toddler or a puppy jumping up on me. A wider, firmer elastic would have worked much better, and/or perhaps a drawstring as well. Too bad...it's going back.

And it was not very flattering on me. I felt the waist would have stretched with two or three washings.

Walking through Golden Gate Park I suddenly had 60feet of elastic thread about my waist and a skirt sliding down my hips! Mom was right, always wear a slip!

The browns are size large fell down my waist, thegreen medium does the same thing - I do not have a really small waist - the elastic is just too stretchy - maybe a drawstring would help. Also wish there were at least one inseam pocket. But obviously, I like it - I own three. my only summer skirts. I have contmeplated replacing the elastic with something wider, maybe that would help...it is very stretchy and not very wide. my only real issue.
