Feels Great right out of the box By David from Petersburg, IN on 04/20/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Light Loads, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer, Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I looked a several different brands of hiking boots and finnally ordered these. I must say they are very comfortable right out of the box and seem to have very little break in time and keep my feet dry. I'm not sure about the durablity yet going hiking in the smokies next week will report back then, seem to be made well though. Only rated it a four because of the fact I haven't had a chance to really put them to the test of a good hike,I feel they will rate higher.

By Bob from Farragut, Tennessee on 03/26/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Light Loads, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far, these are great boots. Perhaps the most comfortable I've had. The sizing is true (at least for me). The boots are light and supportive. I recommended them highly for weekend backpacks and dayhiking. I haven't tried them yet on any weeklong backpacks or with a heavy load. I also can't say anything yet about long-term durability.
Really like my Lowa Boots By Sacajewea from Caddo Mills,TX on 03/25/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Everyday, Harsh Terrain, Heavy Loads, Light Loads, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband & I both got a pair of Lowa boots. During the summer we work & live in YNP & do a lot of hiking in the greater Yellowstone Eco-system, including the Tetons. Usually only day hikes, but could be up to 20 miles & include mountainous terrain & water crossings. This is our 3rd pair of Lowa's & they were comfortable as soon as we put them on. We never had problems with our other pairs & expect to not have any problems with these. The size seems right on. I order a man's size because I like the room in the toe box. Cant wait to hit the trails again.
Lightweight, well constructed boots By Mystic Hank from Baltimore, MD on 03/21/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Everyday, Light Loads, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small, Feels too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots will work well for light hiking and casual wear. If you are a true size (e.g. size 10), a half size larger may give you a better fit (especially if you will be wearing heavier socks).
By hiking in Peru from Oceanside, CA on 03/18/2009 Pros: Great Traction, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed something that would keep my ankle from rolling over on harsh terrain, but this boot was just too lightweight and offered no support. It did have a great sole and laced up nicely, but definitely one of Lowa's low-end boots.
