Wonderfully Comfortable Boots! By Dog Trainer Lady from Ohio on 04/06/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Long-Distance Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too big, Feels too large Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots feel WONDERFUL, but I knew to order a full size smaller. I need a lot of ankle support & kindness to 70 yr old flat feet that never were good, & these boots help me in my sport which demands a lot of time walking on concrete & hard surfaces, as well as on mother earth.
They look nice too, since they aren't as clunky or heavy as many brands & styles. I hope they'll come out with more colors, as I plan to wear them to grocery & anywhere I can.
By Artist Susan from Vermont on 04/06/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Cons: Laces could be easier Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational, Environmentalist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these to replace a pair of Lowa boots that I have practically worn out. I wear them often for winter walks and am so happy with the comfort, fit, and all around practicality that I wanted another pair of Lowas. I think these are going to be just great.

I read the reviews before purchasing and agree that these boots do not need a break-in period. I wear a size 8 and they were a tad large, but that works well with hiking socks.
By talented hiker from Talent, OR on 03/23/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Everyday, Harsh Terrain, Light Loads, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these are great hikers with ample room for "C" widths. No break-in required. I bought my first pair of Lowa's in 2000 and the only reason I'm replacing them is because my feet have grown. They are a great deal because my new pair costs half as much as what I paid at a recreational retailer nine years!

I ordered 2 more pairs in the remaining colors.
