By taxinjazz from royal oak mich on 11/20/2008 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work in large coolers all day and this wool shirt is the best at keeping you warm. I wish I had bought the pants as well they are sold out. I think this shirt would be great for snow sports. If you buy the right wool products they are fabulous. I am swiching all my long underwear to wool. I have lots of Cuddle Duddes but these are far better at keeping you warm.

By somewhere from maryland on 11/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a decent product compare to the price I paid. Fit is very good. It also feels soft. A little transparent but I don't plan to wear it alone so it's not a big problem. Yesterday I wore it to a day hike . I felt itchy on my lower back. I have a couple of other brand lightweight wool underwear and never felt itchy. Not sure whether the "mid-weight" made any difference on the fineness of the wool.
100% Wool for the Price of Cotton By Miss C from Northeastern PA on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Running, Snow Sports, Team Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just discovered wool baselayers this year so I haven't had a chance to try them out yet. I also purchased wool tops from Patagonia, Icebreaker and Lole.
The Terramar wins for best bang for the buck. It's slightly less soft than the other brands but still quite comfortable. The sleeves are too short and uneven. But considering I've paid more for cotton t-shirts, I'm not complaining.
I sized down based on another reviewer's remarks but I'm not sure that was necessary. It's snug but not tight which seems right for a baselayer. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase, and looking forward to wearing it.
By Suzie Q. from Saskatoon, Canada on 11/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports, Team Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We keep our house cool, and wearing this under my tops keeps me at a perfect level. Also I need the warmth outdoors eight months of the year. Can't live without it. I'm buying more.
By Katie from upstate NY on 09/21/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I found this top to be very scratchy and uncomfortable, so I sent it back. I'm saving my money for the wool tops (by well-known brands) that are more expensive but much, much softer. This top was actually painful to wear.
By wannabeefit from australia on 08/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a size 16 and well rounded so I ordered size large. It was too big, especially the arms which were far too roomy, otherwise nice product and not scratchy, pity the price has gone up.

By Brenda, an Outdoor Worker from Las Vegas Nevada on 03/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports, Team Sports Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked this product so much, I bought two sets. Tops and Bottoms. Good investment because it is made well and will last a long time. Nothing like wool to keep you warm in Winter and cool in Summer.
