No need to wear socks or lace into regular tennis shoes! They also feel very stable.

I bought the Keen Briggs (I believe it is called) in a 10, and these, sz 10, seem to run even a bit shorter than the the Briggs.

Great with jeans, skirts, shorts. You can hike if you don't mind the dirt and fills very stable. Great support, no tired feet.
