Great color. I've been wearing them everywhere, but am headed to the beach to try them out there.
By Minnesota quilter from Grand Rapids, Minnesota on 11/10/2009 Pros: Easy On/Off, Lightweight Best Uses: At The Beach, Boating, Wading Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Since it is not boating season in Northern Minnesota, I haven't worn these outside yet, just around the house. It is the 2nd time I tried to get a good fit--the 8 was too small, and the 9 is too large.
By bren from Tahoe on 11/10/2009 Best Uses: Paddle Sport, Wading Describe Yourself: Avid Watersporter Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoes were cute enough but they were not the water shoes I was looking for. I need something that stays on in the water. I bought 2 sizes and sizing was true to size but if I were to wear the shoes in water they were not going to stay on. I wanted them to get into the ocean for paddle boarding. They would have come off easily but don't think they would have stayed on to get to my board.
Good traction and snug fit By IrishEyes from Boulder, CO on 11/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Secure Fit Best Uses: At The Beach, Boating, Paddle Sport, Sailing, Wading Describe Yourself: Environmentalist, Recreational Watersporter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These water shoes are a clear improvement over the other five pairs of water shoes I have owned. The diagonal strap helps to keep the shoe in place when walking on river rock, wading or swimming. The shoe is a tad too tight right out of the box but with a little use and and submersion in water they loosen to just the right size. I also love the color (red) they are easy to find in a dark closet or stuffed gear bag.
Cute, but sizing is an issue By Kirbydog from Richmond, CA on 11/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy On/Off, Great Traction, Lightweight Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the way these look and the fabric used for them; sizing is an issue, however. I have 8 pairs of Keen shoes and sandals, which range from size 7 to 8 (it might depend on the style but I have long felt that Keen has the issue with sizing correctly). For this water shoe I am a perfect 7.5 but half sizes are not offered. The heel lifts off when I run laps in the pool but they haven't fallen off.
By The fish bio from Brevard, NC on 10/21/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Easy On/Off Cons: No support on your foot Best Uses: Boating, Paddle Sport, Wading Describe Yourself: Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love how cute these are but they have no arch support at all. Not for walking long distances at all!
too small had to send it back By cathy from wayne, nj on 10/19/2009 Describe Yourself: Recreational Watersporter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these for a sailing vacation at BVI. I have a 71/2 size shoe. An 8 was not available chose a 7 and it was in fact too small. They look adorable but it was a no go not just for me but my whole family. Purchased a 9 for my 8 sized husband and son, too small.
Keen Roatan Water Shoes for women By Shugah from Minneapolis, MN on 10/12/2009 Describe Yourself: Recreational Watersporter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe isn't available in half sizes, so I guessed & ordered up a half size from my usual 7 1/2, and they are far too big, so I'm returning them. A shame, because they appear to be very utilitarian and would be great for canoeing and kayaking.
By velle from ARLETA, CA on 10/09/2009 Cons: Not enough inside cushion Best Uses: Walking in rain Describe Yourself: Quality shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
