Keens are the best!
By ON the go. from Des Moines, IA on 11/10/2008
Pros:
Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Traction, Supports foot
Cons:
Not easy on or off
Best Uses:
Ocean, River
Describe Yourself:
Recreational User
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I wear Keens almost every day in the summer. Use solely on Florida beach. I have 3 pairs and plan to get more. They provide great support but let your foot breathe. I especially like roomy toe area with the bumpers. You cannot step in and out of these shoes but the arch support and good looks are phenomenal.

Comments:
These are the finest sailing sandals I've ever tried. With full toe protection from deck hardware and the EXCELLENT grip on a wet or dry deck you can see that Keen was started by an experienced sailor. Mine will never leave the boat!! My wife thinks they look like giant wiffle balls,LOL

Extremely narrow
By STP shopper from Chattanooga TN on 07/20/2008
Cons:
Difficult On and Off, Uncomfortable
Best Uses:
Beach, Swimming, Waterpark
Describe Yourself:
Beginner
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These were difficult to get on and made very narrow. There is a non adjustable strap that goes around the shoe and if your foot is slightly larger than a narrow size this strap is tight

Didn't work for me
By xmarc999Verified Reviewer from CA on 07/15/2008
Cons:
Uncomfortable
Best Uses:
Boating, Kayaking
Describe Yourself:
Recreational Rider
Bottom Line:
Comments:
As with a number of other water shoes, these have 2 depressions, one for the big toe, one for the rest of the toes. I've been told this is very comfortable *if* the shoe fits well. Unfortunately, my feet are a little short and wide so my toes sit on the ridges around the depressions. Very uncomfortable. I liked everything else about the shoe, but will go with one without the toe depressions.

Grips like glue and comfortable too
By Blue water hunterVerified Reviewer from Hawaii on 06/22/2008
Pros:
Dries Quickly, Good Traction, Stay securely on
Best Uses:
Boating, Kayaking, Swimming, Walking the reef
Describe Yourself:
Recreational Rider
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I used these shoes for any ocean activity. Reef fishing, deep sea fishing, kayaking. The shoes are wonderful. We got pounded is 7-ft choppy seas while fishing and I was the only one who was not slipping all over the deck. You do have to adjust ALL the straps when you first get the shoes -- from the toes to the top. Start at the toe. You have to pull HARD on the straps to get them to adjust initially. Once you do that, the shoes is very easy to put on and get off. Happy trails and tight lines!

I love everything but the durability of the bottoms of the shoe. After the 1st use, the bottom was tearing apart. The design of everything but the bottom is great!
