I followed the instructions and ordered a size 11, when I generally wear size 10. The shoes fit perfectly. The shoes are great -- they're made of good material, they're waterproof and they require little breakin.
That said, the arch of my feet do get tired from walking around in them all day, but it's not terrible. They're about a full inch off the ground, so that's expected. I have used them for walking around and am going to take them for a hike soon to put them to the test.
