By Hiking Advocate from New York, NY on 10/15/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels full size too small, Feels too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Definitely order 1 size larger. I followed the instructions and ordered a size 11, when I generally wear size 10. The shoes fit perfectly. The shoes are great -- they're made of good material, they're waterproof and they require little breakin.
That said, the arch of my feet do get tired from walking around in them all day, but it's not terrible. They're about a full inch off the ground, so that's expected. I have used them for walking around and am going to take them for a hike soon to put them to the test.

Runs small and not warm... By Frozen Fed Ex-er from Benton Harbor, Michigan on 02/15/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In Cons: Difficult Laces, Sizing is small Best Uses: Short dry day hikes Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in Michigan and work for FedEx as a courier. I bought these to use for work and am miserably disappointed. I can only fit 1 pair of socks on, as the sizing is very tight. I've worn them in 6" of snow and had my feet soaking wet on the first day of wearing them. I've sprayed them with water-repellant, which helped, but still they are not warm. Do not fall for the advertizing of these boots because it is all false. These boots are only good if you are in dry conditions and the temps are above 32 degrees.
By Bonhomme from North East America on 02/02/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Professional/Guide Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are excellent shoes. I feel they run small; I compensated for this by ordering a half size up. I could have possibly gone a whole size up, but am still pleased with the boots.
