Runs small and not warm... By Frozen Fed Ex-er from Benton Harbor, Michigan on 02/15/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In Cons: Difficult Laces, Sizing is small Best Uses: Short dry day hikes Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in Michigan and work for FedEx as a courier. I bought these to use for work and am miserably disappointed. I can only fit 1 pair of socks on, as the sizing is very tight. I've worn them in 6" of snow and had my feet soaking wet on the first day of wearing them. I've sprayed them with water-repellant, which helped, but still they are not warm. Do not fall for the advertizing of these boots because it is all false. These boots are only good if you are in dry conditions and the temps are above 32 degrees.

I feel they run small; I compensated for this by ordering a half size up. I could have possibly gone a whole size up, but am still pleased with the boots.

Warmth for the wiggling toes By Joe the Plumber from Michigan on 01/09/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Cons: Difficult Laces, Heavy Best Uses: Cold Weather, Harsh Terrain Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The sizing seems just right. Might not accommodate two layers of socks, if need be. Feels a bit on the heavy side. Apart from that a good buy. You can make like Jesus and walk on water, I mean snow.
