By Deedclemdogg from Rockford, IL on 01/08/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Looks good for teens, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Everyday, Walking to school, Wearing a lighter boot, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This was a gift for a middle schooler who wanted a warm boot to wear to school, etc. but didn't want the "look" of a bulky winter boot. It's both warm and lightweight!
Runs over two sizes small!!! By Bigfoot in NYC from New York, NY on 01/08/2009 Cons: Too Stiff/Not Flexible Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was happy with these when I opened the box, but even looking at them I thought they were way too small to be a 13. I usually wear a 12, so I followed previous reviews and ordered a 13. But even doing that couldn't compensate for how ridiculously small these boots run. My roommate who generally wears an 11 tried them on and said they were too small for him! If you wear a size 10 or 10.5, I'd recommend ordering the 13. Great looking boots that look durable and that I think would be comfortable if they fit.
Must shrink your foot to fit By The Terminator from Madison WI on 01/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots should have had a warning that says for narrow feet only and add two sizes larger.

By Walk about... from Kansas City and anywhere I can travle on 01/05/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Spent five days in Colorado snow hiking in the mountains. These boots did a great job in the snow and in snow shoes. They are a little stiff but I think I am still in the break in period.
By Roberto the Strider from Santa Fe, NM on 01/04/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: + Great for day hikes in cold, wet conditions. Great ankle support, a stiff enough boot without the clumsy bulk from typical snow boots.
- They definitely run small-- I had to exchange them for a full size larger. Because of the lighter weight I don't imagine they would be so great for standing around in cold conditions. The tread is not as aggressive as I would like & it is a flat sole (no raised heel).
By Jim the ripper from Nashville, TN on 01/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally wear an 11. Those came and were WAY too small overall. I exchanged those for some 12's and they were still too small in the toebox. Not very impressed.
By Colin's mom from Cape Cod, Massachusetts on 01/03/2009 Pros: Attractive, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my 17 year old son as a surprise. Usually, I'm afraid to do that, because our taste rarely match at this point in our lives.. anyways, he loved them, but unfortunately, they run small and there were no more in stock to exchange.
