By Xeries from Carneys Point, NJ on 07/08/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these because they're waterproof. Too bad I never got a chance to find out. The shaft is so stiff I had to send them back right away because they dug into my achilles tendon and hurt terribly. A shame because initially they felt very comfortable in the footbed. Your experience may differ as we all have different feet but these were among the worst fit ever for me.

Somewhat stiff to start with but I think they will break in without a problem before long. It stated that they were originally [$] boots but I don't think they were of that caliber. Happy at the price I paid, so glad I did not pay retail price.
