By Excited to go hike from Denver, CO on 03/19/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Great Traction, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels too large, Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was excited to get these boots at a great price but they were too wide. I wear a womens 10 usually a B (regular) width. Even with mid-weight smartwool hiking socks, they were just too wide. I am bummed I have to return them.
By CP from North Carolina on 03/18/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Everyday, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these to use in place of my old standard hikers in situations where I wanted to double up socks.(I went on a trip last month and my toes stayed cold because I didn't have enough room) So, I purposely ordered these a half size larger so I would have toe "wiggle" room. The fit is exactly how I like them. If you like your boots a tad bit big to double up your socks (or wear really thick ones)...go a half size larger and give your toes some space...

By Hike! from Western NC on 03/11/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big, Feels too large Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have not worn these but a few times, so my review may change after some wear. I did have to send them back because they were too big. I wear an 8 and the toe box was huge, it was way too wide in the toe area and just too big. I sent it back for a 7 1/2 and that fits me perfect. I used to wear a 7 1/2, but have gone up to an 8, and these are the 1st pair of shoes I've had to go back to a 7 1/2 on. I have worn these to work to break them in a bit, and they've done okay. I don't plan on hiking in them till I have really broken them in, they feel stiff now. I can't review on anything else about them as of now.

By sojourner8 from Hickory, NC on 03/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wonderful boots at a fantastic price. I can wear 7' to 7'1/2" and purchased the latter. They fit fine with the hiking socks I have and are very comfortable. The boots arrived two weeks before our first (and perhaps) only snow storm of the year and it was fun to use them! I'm very happy with my purchase.
