By I don't have a nickname. from Kennewick, WA on 09/29/2009 Pros: Great Traction, Water Resistant Cons: Difficult Laces, Long Break-in, Too Stiff/Not Flexible Best Uses: Day Hiking, Light Loads Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The laces are too short to hold and pull to tighten. The boots are nice looking and I hope they will break in as I wear them. I think they need more arch support. The price was right.

By tarzanschick from Arizona on 07/16/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, No pain in feet, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Everyday, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots have great traction, any walking long term I would have blisters with much pain in my feet, not with these boots, no blisters, no pain!! If they were more stylish looking I would wear them everyday.
I would buy these boots again. By harley lady from Fairfield, CA on 05/01/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Harsh Terrain, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer, Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very comfortable. There is a short break-in period, because they are very sturdy boots. I have wide feet and these have a nice wide toe box to fit my feet.
I would buy these again.
By Fur Kid Mom from Colorado on 03/16/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Great Traction, Warm, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Can't beat the price but at the same time, you get what you pay for. The boots performed well while just hiking around. The front of the boots are a bit stiff so I have to wear above the ankle socks with the them. Examining the construction, I don't believe the boots will last a long time but they serve their purpose for now.
By Outdoors lover from Madison, Ohio on 03/09/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in northeast Ohio where the weather is very unpredictable and I must have warm dry boots. Although I have only worn the boots several times, I have not had any issues. they are very warm, keep my feet dry and are comfortable. This boot is a real bargain. I previously tried Columbia and Vasque brands and they do not measure up to these and they cost way more. I am so glad I tried the Kamik's. I will have them for a long time.
Very Nice Boot. Using for winter. By amacd1065 from Boston, MA on 03/02/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Light Loads, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like these boots and the price was great. My only "con" was that it feels 1/2 size too small. So I took out the in-sole and replaced it with a gel one and that doesn't take up so much room. Otherwise my toes were squished with the "real" in-sole in place, I would have had to return them.
By Opie from Los Angeles, California on 02/28/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use them for urban hiking, as well as regular hiking. I walked all over Manhattan in these. My feet and legs felt great. They are comfortable and sturdy.
By HikingNut from Northeast TN on 02/05/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable Cons: Difficult Laces, Too Stiff/Not Flexible Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had a hard time getting these boots tight enough with the laces so my foot slides around inside when walking. Length is good but very hard to get laces tight enough. Not too flexible but for the price OK to wear for short distances.
