The 10.5 I got is actually larger than a size 11 Salomon shoe I got at the same time.
Great Wet Weather Walking Shoe By Belle from East TN on 06/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes for my daily walking routine through wet grass, wooded trails and wet weather. They have performed perfectly! The fit is loose for the size with a roomy toe box. They were totally comfortable from the first time I wore them. And I'm a hard fit since foot surgery. Personally, I don't find them stylish, but, frankly, who cares since they are the perfect shoe for the use intended.
One con which I find strange. When they are wet, they give off a bad odor - rather like cat urine. This has never happened with my other athletic shoes or GoreTex hiking boots. The odor does discipate after machine washing. So be prepared to wash frequently or you'll attract a gang cats! Inspite of this quirk, I love these shoes!
By RayRay from Fort Collins, CO on 04/26/2009 Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these b/c I wanted to buy some everyday running/walking shoes and shoes I could wear hiking. These shoes do not breathe at all and they are not cushioned very well. They do provide good support for ankles...but I under-pronate and have a rod in one leg, so I needed both a supportive and cushioned shoes. I ended up returning these. They are attractive shoes though.
By linda t from Gillette, WY on 02/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been running in this shoe this past winter in northern Wyoming. It has been snowny, wet and icy and his shoe has been great. Until I bought this shoe I was running in a winter snow boot. This shoe is lightweight and fully waterproof. Good traction on slick surfaces and in snow and ice on trails and frozen ground. The mid height helps keep out the snow.

They are comfortable, light weight, excellent in snow, slush and mud and are very watertight.
