By rhy from San Jose, CA on 08/13/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction Best Uses: Day Hiking, Harsh Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear size 9.5-10 US men's, but noticed that there weren't any men's in these sizes left. Women's size 11 was available and worked out for me. Lacing is highly adjustable.
Went for a 10 mile dayhike in these immediately to break them in, and then a 16 mile hike / peak scramble. Good stuff.
By hikerbarb from Chicago, IL on 07/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In Cons: Not Enough Ankle Support Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was pleasantly surprised that the sizing was the same as my shoe size. (I read the Sierra guide for sizing). I also was also pleasantly surprised that I could wear these on a long hike right out of the box.
By 3bg from St. Louis, MO on 05/29/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Sturdy/Durable Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer, Casual/Recreational, Environmentalist Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these boots and really liked them. I knew to order 1/2 size up after trying Asolos on in the store. The only reason I returned them was because I found a different pair of Asolo boots that I had been wanting on Sierra Trading Post. Otherwise, I would have kept them.

By Sarah from VA from Alexandria, VA on 03/18/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my 2nd pair of Asolo's, and if they're half as good as my first, then I've already gotten my money's worth. They're extremely comfortable and are ready to be worn in the outdoors the first time you put them on. They require little breaking in, and are lightweight. I strongly recommend these boots to all of my friends, and fellow adventurers

Just not the same Asolo quality By mjk from KY on 02/23/2009 Pros: Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: the construction is not the usual Asolo standard; I really wanted to keep them because I'm tired of returning hiking boots but I know I won't be happy until I've managed to find the "real" Asolo boot and fit
