By B from Leominster, MA on 06/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfortable shoe. Size runs probably 1/2 - 3/4 of a size large (I'm normally a 10.5 or 11 but I'm a 10 in this shoe). Great shoe for trail hikes but low profile probably makes it less suitable for rockier terrain. Just climbed Mt. Monadnock in Southern NH with this shoe and it felt great.
By Javaruke from Denver on 05/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes have a narrow fit which is perfect for my foot. The sole is somewhat stiff to start, and I expect it to loosen up with more use. Love the goretex for water resistance. Sole design is somewhat prone to rolling your ankles if you have weak ones due to the angle of the outer sole. Felt very comfortable very quickly, looking forward to several years of primary use.

Looks good, but too narrow By hiker53 from Ohio on 03/27/2009 Pros: Stable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Asolo seem to run about a half size large, using the Mondo sizing is more accurate than the USA shoe sizes. Shoe is too narrow. Other than the sizing issue seems like a well made shoe.Had to return it.
