By TSellers from Banff, AB on 09/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip, Snug Fit Best Uses: Backcountry, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Grabbed them today from my duty bag to use for transporting a 160lb patient in a wheeled stretcher down a trail. They have a good grip and are comfortable. I suspect they will not last long under heavy use, and the short cuff feels a bit uncomfortable. I'd say at the clearance price they are a good deal, I'd pass on them if they actually were going for the retail, but I've noticed that the retail price of the items here are not really the actual real world street price for most items anyway.

By DickHomelandscaper from Boston on 06/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit Best Uses: Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Heavy outdoor work Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a really high quality pair of work gloves at a very low price. They are made of very good leather, immediately comfortable yet strong. Excellent dexterity for the hand protection provided. This is not a floppy work glove, the fabric back stretches to provide a closer fit.
As others have commented, these run small. I'm usually a medium and the large fits me fine so I recommend going up one size.
I've used them for digging my garden and clearing land. Excellent protection and comfort for both uses so far.
