By Labrat from Corpus Christi, TX. on 07/08/2009 Best Uses: Mountain Biking, Road Riding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got this for my road bike. Followed advice from previous buyers and got the medium. It is just enough for a spare tube, multi tool and keys. Perfect for my use. Very neat and stable.
GREAT PRODUCT BUT TOO SMALL!! By FISH2GOLF from ORANGEVALE, CA on 07/04/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: THIS IS A PRODUCT THAT IS WELL MADE BUT IT NEEDS TO BE TWICE THE SIZE TO BE ANY VALUE ON A BIKE. YOU CAN PUT YOUR TUBE OF CHAP STICK IN IT BUT DON'T TRY TO PUT YOUR CELL PHONE OR ANY TOOLS IN IT.
great product but VERRY small By Padraig from Silver City, NM on 07/02/2009 Cons: For a medium it's SMALL Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you're looking for a seat pack with room, this is NOT the one to get. I don't know how you can get a cycling tool, tube, patch kit, etc. into this because I could not. Get the large one. Trust me.
Great for bringing the essentials By Buzzygirl from Twin Cities, MN on 06/20/2009 Best Uses: Casual bike rides, Mountain Biking, Road Riding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great storage solution for short commutes and casual bike rides. The medium pack holds the essentials (cell phone, keys, bike tool and a credit card) easily and unobtrusively.
By give more, take less from davidson, nc on 06/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is a well constructed and cleverly made seat bag that is big enough for the essentials in case you need to fix a flat on the road
By Sleepy from Oklahoma on 06/06/2009 Pros: Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I stuffed 2 thin road tubes, two CO2 cartridges and nozzle, and two tire levers into it and can barely get it closed. Also, the velco straps are a little short, so they are just barely long enough to reach around my saddle rails. The construction looks solid, but if you want to carry any more items or mountain bike tubes, get the larger size.
A tad on the small side... By Phil from Dublin, VA on 06/05/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wish the straps were longer...they seem a bit short to be as secure as I'd like. The seatpost strap is too short as well...it rubs my shorts unless I fanagle the strap and compromise the security. Tough, and good looking too, though.
By sdj from WI on 06/01/2009 Pros: Secure Straps, Sturdy Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice, sturdy seat pack - secures very well to seat - was just a bit small for what I wanted, but I liked the construction so much that I ordered the same in a large.
By AZ Girl at Heart from Pittsburgh, PA on 05/25/2009 Pros: Removable Pouch, Secure Straps Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just big enough to fit keys, cell phone, and a small snack. Constructed well- like all other Timbuk2 packs!
The only seat bag you'll ever need. By Samurai from Pisgah Forest, NC on 05/25/2009 Pros: Aero fit under saddle, All the space I need, Excellent construction Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a serious fitness rider and I have four of the medium bags; one for each bike I own. For me, this bag has all the space I need, and the quality I've come to appreciate from Timbuk2. Also, the orange and red bags go perfectly with the colorways on my bikes...an important detail!
One caveat, I would recommend trimming the strap that secures the bag to the seat post before your first ride. As with most seat bags, this strap is intentionally long to accomodate different seat post diameters. Use a hot knife to seal the end of the strap.
