By 67X from AZ on 02/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable without being too spongy and thus prone to quick wear out. This shoe has a great profile and feels like it may last a bit longer than the usual 6 months or so before the cushioning no longer is of any real value to the wearer. Not a hard-core running shoe or hiker, but an ample trail shoe- right about the middle of the spectrum. Great for everyday wear. I'd have given it an extra star for all it's qualities as one full star goes toward the fact is is a Made in the USA shoe.

By happy shopper from St.Louis, MO on 01/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought my first New Balance through Sierra.I was so satisfied that I decided to get one for my husband. My husband wears size 8. Women's New Balance shoes tend to run small so I was not sure if I should order half to one size up. Since I did not find any statements regarding the size issue in the past reviews,I ordered 8, which turned out to be right! This shoes fit perfectly and are comfortable immediately (no need to break in). My husband loves this pair.
