By kat from waynesboro ms on 10/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only thing I don't much like about this is I thought they were a darker color, they are white where it looks like tan on the page. I bought them to wear to work and they are very comfortable.
By acudoc from washington state on 10/13/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Usually love New Balance, but these have no arch support and they look like bowling shoes. I had to add arch support insoles. Good tread, though.

Like NB, but these didn't fit By Mom of three. from Iowa on 08/17/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear New Balance walking shoes, and thought these would replace my old ones, but when I put them on they were tight all over and didn't have the "New Balance" quality one would expect. Also, the arch support wasn't as good as other NB products.
I have sinced returned these but will try out another pair of shoes from STP.

TOEBOX LARGE ENOUGH TO ACCEPT ORTHOTIC!! By Nashville Hiker from Nashville, TN on 06/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a size 8. (My pre-orthotic size was 6 1/2.) The toebox is large enough to accept my orthotics and they fit perfectly. I also love the light gray color. It doesn't show dirt as readily as white. I'm ordering 2 more pairs. At this price, I can't resist!
