new balance rocks our world By chef's wife from colorado on 01/02/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Flexible, Stable Best Uses: Everyday wear, Foot Ailments Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: my husband has a fallen arch and massive ankle pain. he was recommended these shoes by his aunt, who works 16 hour shifts. he works 100+ hours a week and needs something stable and comfortable. the shoes are new, but he says that they are the most comfortable shoe he's had yet. the silver is a bit intense, but if color is the only downfall, whatever. i wish they came in a waterproof variety for chefs.
By Me from Balto, MD on 01/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Everyday wear, Pavement, Running, Walking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have owned similar NB models and have been very satisfied. These shoes are too shiny--I really dislike the metallic finish, but I figure this will scuff down so I kept the shoes.

Over the years I have ordered literally dozens of pairs of shoes from STP and never once have I been disappointed.

By Hikingsasquatch from Homosassa, FL on 11/25/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Great cushioning, Lightweight, Stable, Versatile Best Uses: Endurance Training, Running Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these to the gym and for jogging on pavement or mixed terrain. Great all around cushioned ride for the neutral runner, with enough stability to double as a cross trainer. Shoe length is true to size; the width seems a little narrower than most. So, if you occasionally wear a wide New Balance runner, you should probably order these in a wide size.

The reflective trim was very shiny and looked a bit "much" but shoe was good in all other respects so he kept them
A fine running shoe particularly for the By Groceryman from Buffalo, New York on 11/11/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lighweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Running, Walking Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk and jog and this shoe is comfortable for both these activities particularly not doing less than 5 miles a day. I am a "big" man and the shock absorption is good - no break in time required. Have not had long enough to evaluate durability. The shoe fits true to size (13-2E) Appearance is good. Laces are slightly elastic and long enough and hold well.
