They were great on the first run out. Size is true and very comfortable. I would recommend this to runners with medium stability needs. Very good shoes.
A great shoe - what I expect from NB! By phillychick from Prescott, AZ on 02/07/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a fan of New Balance, so it was no surprise these shoes met my expectations. Lightweight with lots of shock-absorption and stability. I run 10-15 miles per week and these shoes wear nicely. I will buy again! p.s. don't forget to order a half-size up in NBs (I usually wear an 8, an 8.5 in NB fit perfectly)
By Twinkle Toes from North Bend, WA on 02/06/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Cons: I don't see any cons Best Uses: Endurance Training, Everyday wear, Running, Walking Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I read a bunch of reviews about this shoe on another site (that was charging more money for them) and decided to give them a try (there weren't any reviews at STP at that time). I have peripheral neuropathy in both feet and can't stand to have my toes touch the end of my shoes. I normally wear an 8 1/2 narrow but ordered the 10 narrow. They're fabulous! To find narrow widths is wonderful! I also have a very high arch and the supports in these shoes fit me perfectly.
