I would buy this product again. By Triathlon from Greeley, CO on 10/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Soft Best Uses: Everyday Wear, Fits great for outerlayer, Too large to wear to run, Travel Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They fit great through the hips but are really long. The zippers keep them from dragging on the ground. Good material.
By sue from redding,ca on 07/06/2009 Cons: Poor Craftsmanship, Restricts Movement, Too Thin Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: would not recomend this product...fits way too small....not good fabric...not what it said it was....
By Workout Wink from Ashland, OR on 02/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Poor Fit, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had read the reviews about the oddly tight fit in the calf, but I decided to try them anyway. Once I had them I saw the objection -- the top of the leg is rather loose, the calf is rather tight -- but I decided I would choose to like them. I do. And I have gotten a compliment on them.
By Becca from SD on 01/23/2009 Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants were too tight on my calfs. They seemed to fit okay everywhere else though.
good idea, not so good execution By trotakvf from Durham, NC on 12/01/2008 Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried really hard to like these pants, but the fit was extremely awkward. Tight around the calves (and I have small calves), and baggy on the belly and on the rear, resulting in a look that was unflattering to say the least, as well as uncomfortable. The fit was neither tights nor pants, and the weight was lighter than what I expected. The only pro to those that I found was the reflective material on the sides, which really is very cool.
By Triathlete in Training from Milwaukee, WI on 11/13/2008 Pros: Ankle grips, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Reflective, Zip bottoms, Zip Pockets Cons: Poor Fit, Unflattering Best Uses: Anytime, Cold Weather, Competition, Night Activities, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these pants when I run early in the morning or in the evening when it's dark out. I really like the fact that they are reflective - that's the main reason I bought them.
Pros
The reflective technology makes me feel much safer when I'm running in the dark
They totally wick away the moisture/sweat created when running and keep you comfortable and dry
The tapered legs with zips on the bottom give you full movement and the grips on the ankle keep the pants from sliding or snagging. Which is great for biking too.
Zip pockets are great to store things in.
Cons
I am 5'3/112 and the smalls are too big on me (they didn't have XS). I have to roll the top over at least twice (three would be most comfortable but then I lose my pockets) just to get rid of the crotch sag. I think they would be perfect for someone a little taller.
They are kind of baggier in the thighs and get really tight by the ankles. I guess I'm just used to either tight all over or looser throughout. I don't find them very flattering looking.
By For the Run of It from Olympia, WA on 11/11/2008 Pros: Great ProductReflection Cons: Poor Fit, Very tight in the calves Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was excited to get these great tights for such a great deal but was super disappointed when I put them on and realized how tight they were in the calves. I don't have big monster calves either, I ordered the medium and they fit fine every where else.
I sent them back and didn't order a second pair. Maybe mine were just defective?
By 1riverrat from Nauvoo, IL on 11/10/2008 Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are not reflective as described. If you have very skinny lower legs and bigger in the hips, you may like them but the proportions are not good. I have thin lower legs and ankles and it is tight on me, but lots of room in the hips.
By Jill from Nebraska on 10/22/2008 Best Uses: Late Fall or Early spring Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have some Illuminite products so I ordered a size up from my normal size. The fit was still too snug. So technically this product runs two sizes too small.
