By Bill's older brother from Indiana on 02/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Sip-off hood, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I especially like it's having a good wind barrier. I also like it's having a removeable hood. Both of these features make it much warmer than my previous winter coat that has a sip-out fleece liner. I normally wear large but felt more comfortable with an extra large so that it fits comfortably over a sweater.

By Durek from Marysville, OH on 01/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Insulated, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is exactly the coat I've been looking for for several years. I've owned several Columbia Interchange parkas but this replaces all of them. The coat offers everything that an insulated waterproof shell does at half the weight and bulkiness.
The softshell fabric is very durable but allows for freedom of movement. I was concerned that it would not have adequate insulation when I ordered the coat, but upon receiving it was very pleasantly surprised. It is a heavier coat, but still lighter that a 3-in-1. I wore the coat with a button up shirt underneath in 8 degree weather last night on a 20 minute walk to the post office and stayed very warm. The wind was blocked out, as well. Furthermore, it is roomy enough to add a fleece layer underneath for extremely cold weather and I'm a little heavier than most (5'7, 235 pds). On the other hand, it is not bulky - XL was perfect - fits closer to the body but with some room. As we're expecting -15 degree temps this week, this coat will definitely do the trick. The hood attachments are a bit awkward but workable.
All in all, this is the best coat I've ever owned and Sierra's price is undeniably the best around. Superior service, quality, savings, and product.

Columbia Sportswear's Titanium By To Ski from Fariport, NY on 01/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Being a ski patroller I spend most of my time in all sorts of weather when the season starts, rain, snow, cold and spring skiing weather. So I know after 45x years of patrolling I like a bright colored jacket that stands out so that I can be seen by other skiers and especially snow boarders. This jacket does the trick and can take what ever mother nature throws at it.

Warm, but a little bulky & heavy By steelester from hershey, pa on 01/06/2009 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used this skiing....it had a little too much weight or bulkiness for my liking. However, I own other Titanium jackets from Columbia that I really love.
Love my Swiss Wildcard Jacket so far... By Previewer Reviewer from Dublin, OH on 01/03/2009 Pros: Abbrasion Resistant, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Great for layering, Stylish, Warm, Windproof Cons: No Armpit Vents, No Fleece Collar Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Skiing, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great Jacket so far. Sheds water during downpours, keeps the wind out when putting gas in the car on -10 degree days. Definately keeps you warm with layers, but holds it own without. Bought it for skiing, but haven't had a chance to use it for that yet. Have used it for other daily functions though. Wish it had a fleece lined collar, and armpit vents. The jacket has some room so you can wear layers. Looked at numerous other jackets, but it was the best bang for the buck compared to the others.
