By Hiker Mom from Ellensburg, WA on 09/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would rate this backpack higher if there wasn't a non-removable divider for a laptop in the large compartment. This was purchased as a daypack, not a back-to-school pack. The organizer pocket for pens/pencils/wallet etc. is only attached at the top so the bottom flops around as it isn't very stiff material. It fits excellent, though, which counterbalances those other factors allowing me to rate it as 4 stars and not lower.

I'm quite happy so far. Light, comfortable, stable, pretty easy to adjust, and a very nice water bottle included. Great for my work stuff and a light day trip now and then.
By edwardo9876 from Seattle on 09/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We go on long day hikes,12-15 miles, in the Pacific NW and have been using large fanny packs but found there just wasn't enough room. This is a big upgrade. Very comfortable well padded. The mesh keeps your back from getting sweaty. My wife wore it on our last hike and now I have ordered another one as she won't give it back. The hydration pack is a big plus from water bottles. Images shared by: edwardo9876

Compact, sturdy, organized. By barusu from McMinnville, Oregon on 08/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Cons: A bit cumbersome to load Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Useful for biking to and from work, it sits close to the back and doesn't shift while peddling. Padding is excellent, shoulder straps adjust well, but I wish for a little more substantial waist belt. Storage options are plentiful, and divided logically. Only complaint is the internal flap for cell phone/pens/notepads, etc. It's attachment requires that it be pulled outside the pack to easily access some of its pockets. A minor nit.
