By Jim from Fairfield on 07/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Best Uses: Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm not an expert on backpacks, but I'd been looking for one to carry books and other academic articles when I saw this one on the cover of a Sierra Trading Post flier. Its attractive color and design immediately appealed to me, and I ordered it. The pack turned out to be well made, comfortable, and stable with excellent strap supports and a place for a laptop. With a couple of well-timed discounts, I got it for an amazingly reasonable price. The only con I have is that it is rather small and won't work for an overnight pack as I'd hoped. But if you ride a bike (for instance) and want something light to carry books, laptop, pens, etc., look no farther.
