By Smiley Face from Colorado Springs, CO on 06/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good Padding, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity Best Uses: Day Hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am 5'-1" and was looking for a pack a bit larger than my minimalist camelback to carry rain jacket, food, phone, etc., but not too large for my frame. This is a pretty good fit and will hold alot if needed.
This does not contain a bladder! By Hiking mom from Pittsburgh, Pa on 06/18/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Do not order this if you need a hydration pack. Who knew that you had to make sure that it contains a bladder when you order a Camel Bak? We needed this for a 35-mile challenge and were disappointed to learn there is no bladder nor is it built to hold a regular bladder. What a disappointment.

By Hiking musician from Beverly, MA on 06/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Padding, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Best Uses: Day Hikes, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a small woman and I hate it when backpacks are too big and bulky or have poorly designed chest and hip straps. This one fits perfectly, and they've managed to fit a lot of space into a sleek pack. The fabric is very nice and looks like it will wear well. I pan on using it for day hikes and travel- it will look great all the way from Tokyo to Mt. Washington!
By Mark from Illinois on 06/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good Padding Best Uses: Day Hikes, Light Loads Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this mostly for everyday transport of my laptop.
Because of its compact size, I will also use it for downhill skiing.
By rckwmn8 from Colorado on 05/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Highly Adjustable Best Uses: Day Hikes, Light Loads, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The padding for the computer isn't very thick but I'm not very rough, so it will do. I like the compartments and the size, doesn't overwhelm me but will carry enough for a light hike or a plane trip. The straps are padded nicely and the camelbak water bottle is a nice addition. Good price.
