By Szobonya from Boise, ID on 04/02/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Many of the negative reviews for this shoe come from sizing. It is true that you should get a full size larger than your street shoes. I am fortunate in that I live in Boise, so I was able to try these on in the store. I normally wear a ten and walked out with an eleven. I have only used these indoor, but I'm itching to go out and use them on the real stuff.
By The Hatter from New York, NY on 02/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you are interested in these shoes, you should know a few things about them. These are a very aggressive designed shoe with a HIGH camber. This means that you will want to get a larger size than you normally would with a climbing shoe. The toe and heel design is typical to MadRock shoes, which may or may not work for you. These shoes were designed for very difficult bouldering routes, or mostly over hanging routes. These shoes were not designed to be used on multipitch routes of for casual use. The toe and heel grip is fantastic, and add to the life of the shoe. This is a good price for this shoe, but it is not for everyone.
By Aaron from 29 Pams, CA on 02/05/2009 Pros: Rugged, Weather Resistant Cons: Bulky, Not Adjustable, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It is very hard to get my feet in these shoes, they seem to preform well, although I have yet to use them out doors. it might be a good shoe for you if you have narrow feet.
By Joe Joe from Naples, FL on 01/24/2009 Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Way too small, even though i know they should be tight. this shoe was plastic which i didn't expect. hard plastic. no grip i would never have been able to climb with these. don't order them, you will be disappointed.
New climber gets new shoes By Ivan the fighter from Sparks, NV on 01/11/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Weather Resistant Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these on sale and I am happy to have them, though my next pair shall be more generalized in their uses. I got way more than what I paid for though having more leather would be nice and a strap that doesn't wrap all the way 'round the foot would be good. Shoe becomes uncomfortable for me and my wide Size 12 no-arch feet after bout 45 min. Should have tried em on first.Bottom line: Good to intro with but for me not so good to expand my skills. Still can't beet it for[$]on sale.

Get a much larger size than it says for this model.
These Shoes are just mean! By Samurailance from Fayetteville, AR on 11/25/2008 Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great comfortable shoes. They are very tight at first but just take a few climbs to break in. The strap actually dos give a lot of power.
By opossum from las cruces,nm on 11/22/2008 Best Uses: Bouldering, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't get to climb in these at all, hence the average rating. I wear an 8.5 in street shoes and I ordered an 8 and it was extremely too small. So go up in size when ordering these. I wanted to try another size but there weren't any more available.
