By Climber Chris from Georgia on 09/18/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Fashionable, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Everyday, Light Loads Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I LOVE my pair.
Great boot for day hikes. I would buy a better model for long-distance hiking, but for everyday use and short hikes these are perfect.
They feel as comfortable as my tennis shoes, not stiff at all. No break in period. Very lightweight.
Traction is definitely decent, but once again, I wouldnt use them for serious climbing/hiking. They did hold up to some wet rocks with me. Perfect for the casual/novice hiker.
NOT water-proof when immersed, but they hold up fine in light rain and mud.
Great buy! I'd buy them again.
By RidgeRunner from North Central, Penna. on 07/07/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm Cons: Not Comfortable, Not Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Narrow shoe, low cost, lower comfort. They feel snug, no padding on the sole. I got what I paid for them, imagine that.

These shoes fit comfortably are very warm and most importantly, waterproof. They feel broken in right from the start but also feel very sturdy for the rough terrain.
By Joe Regenwald from Fort Worth, Texas on 06/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for work and took my old pair with me the first day so I could switch when the stiff, new boots became uncomfortable - that never happened.
By Rob from West Palm Beach, FL on 03/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boots, the only con I would say is the laces come loose alot, need to double knot them. I would recommend ordering a half size bigger, Colombia tends to run a little small on the sizes.
Excellant value and comfort By mrlegend90 from CIncinnati, OH on 03/12/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Light Loads Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small, Feels too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great value I would reccommend a 1/2 size larger. But I have to do that with all Columbia shoes. They may not be the ferrari but your feet will feel great and they have good ankle support

By Joel Hte hiker from Van Buren AR on 03/09/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Heavy Loads, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used these for a 15 mile backpack/hike and they were great had no trouble at all they felt great and best of all no blisters. For the price they are the best boots I have ever bought. My only concern is that the insole will not last long it is very thin and does not add a whole lot of cushion. If you are a heavy backpacker then I would recommend buying some insoles specifically for it, thats what i plan on doing.
