Unbelievable value - what a great boot! By bezimmer from Northern VA on 01/27/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Chores in the snow, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Cons: Deep Tread-hard to clean Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday, Harsh Terrain, Heavy Loads, Light Loads, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer, Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first pair of Columbia boots. They replaced an old pair of Timberlands and I cannot believe the great value these new ones are! I wear a large size and this boot, unlike many others I've owned, fit perfectly right out of the box. They required no break-in and are easy to slip in and out of. I am just thrilled with my purchase and the quality/utility of this product. I actually went on-line today to buy another pair, but it looks like my size is sold out. I'll be watching!!!

Comfortable out of the box By Schlachtos from Honolulu, HI on 01/26/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Long-Distance Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational, Warm weather hiker Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boots! They feel just stiff enough for support but super comfortable. I have a heal bulge due to a blown Achilles tendon yet these don't aggravate it at all. I usually take a size 10 or 10.5 depending on the shoe and was glad I ordered the 10.5 since it's just right. It doesn't feel TOO small but it's definitely on the small end of the range--order up if you're in between sizes. I haven't tested them with any load yet but I'm sure they will handle it.
By Christopher from Northfield MN on 01/19/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very good boots, altogether, especially at this price. The only slight downside is that I ordered a wide size, since my feet are in fact very wide, and ended up having space on both sides of each foot. Doubled-up socks helped.
