By DGM from Orange County New York on 01/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Compact Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am still forming an opinion about this knife. But my first surprise was that it was NOT a Boker knife. Magnum is a division of Boker but it's marketed as more "affordable" and usually manufactured to lower specifications. Essentially, Magnum is their cheaper knife. I have other Boker knives and they perform well and the quality is good. I probably would not have purchased the knife if I knew it was going to say "Magnum" on the blade. This is my first Magnum (div. of Boker)...so time will tell.
