Needs more of an arch By mtbg from Windsor, CO on 10/05/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Could use a higher arch. By Outdoorsman from Santa Fe,NM on 05/04/2009 Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Could not wear these shoes........atleast a full size too small. Sent them back the same day.
By none from Flagstaff, AZ on 04/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable Cons: Sole Wears Out Quickly Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My first pair of race blades. I liked the fireblade footbed a lot and the lighter version feels like the same pair of shoes. The clear plastic toe bumper gets dinged up pretty fast but any amount of dulling from wear improves the look of these shoes

Don't fit! Shoes and box don't match. By A chef. from Miami, FL on 02/09/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was really looking forward to receiving these shoes. When they arrived, the box was labelled 45.5 (size 12), but the shoes in the box were size 45 (size 11.5). Too small. I had ordered an half size up as you suggested.
And, of course, although I called right away, there were no more in stock.
By ctccpa from Windsor Heights, Iowa on 02/06/2009 Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Unfortunately, I was unable to use these shoes. I am a size 10, and based on the vendor's advice, customer comments and the sizing guidelines, I ordered a size 44. They were too large. I returned them for size 43 (STP was out of size 43.5). The size 43 was too small, so I had to return them as well. They look great, and I wish they had worked out.
Great in mud, snow, slush By Matt from Prescott/Flagstaff, Arizona on 02/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Listen to Sierra Trading Post when they say this shoe runs small...it does. Other than that, I've got to say this is a great trail shoe. Handles steep downhills without slipping. Mud? Snow? No problem.
I didn't give it a five star because the big toe on my right foot rubs a bit.
By Poisonoakmagnet from Arroyo Grande, CA on 02/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Trail running Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got same size as my cycling shoes and fit was a little big but not so much to return, so I'm not sure why some say buy a little big... Wore them in a snow run and feet were warm, dry and traction was good jumping on rocks accross streams etc. I love these shoes. They pull on a little like wetsuit booties as there is no tongue, but that's why they keep out water/snow/dirt etc.
