Well intended but ill fitting boot By Diggs from Midwest on 01/12/2009 Pros: Great traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult to put on, Hard to remove, Tight in the ankle Best Uses: Bird Hunting, Cold Climate, Light snow duty Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Construction is of good quality but the fit is a bit odd. Sizing is said to run small, but I found my standard size in wide to be a bit loose on my foot. However, the ankle is cut wrong and inserting a foot into these is extremely difficult. If you have skinny calves and small ankles, you will probably be fine. Shin area is "armored" to protect you in the brush. Tops of boots are extremely rugged and durable material. I wear them for shoveling the walk and tromping through snow on runs to the store. Try this boot, but you might need to return and resize. These aren't advertised as an insulated boot but they actually are and are a bit too warm to wear all day at the office. Great fall boot, or mild winter boot, but not a low temp boot by any means.
By speedi from Lehigh Vally, PA on 01/12/2009 Cons: Very difficult getting in Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are terrific looking but they are very very difficult getting into and out of.. When I did get my foot in the size I ordered was perfect. I sent them back due only to the difficulty getting them on and off.. If they made a side zipper model, I would buy them in a flash!
Great deal - perfect winter boot By Overcast Skies from Minnesota Northlands on 01/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable, warm, dry, stylish, toasty, easy to pull on. These are perfect for Minnesota winters.
These are "seconds" due to blemish - but I could not find any - and no one cares when you are standing in 10 inches of snow.
