By Exerciseisfun! from Atlanta, GA on 01/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good control, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit Best Uses: Cycling, Gym, Running, Snow Sports, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this bra! I have ZERO bounce with it. I generally love Moving Comfort and this is no exception. The fact that it hooks in the back means it doesn't get stretched out by going on and off over the head, so I know it will last a long time. I'll definitely be buying more!
By Jim Ratt from Pasadena, CA on 01/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit Best Uses: Cycling, Gym, Running Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great sports bra offering excellent support and moisture wicking. I got two of them and wish I'd gotten more. They're quality crafted so I'm sure they will last a while. Moving Comfort does it again!
By snood from pueblo,co on 01/21/2009 Cons: Not enough cup padding, Not Enough Support, Poor Fit Best Uses: Cycling, Gym, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a sports bra that had more cup padding. It also fit a bit too snug. The quality appeared good, however.
Side stiching chafed my skin By KC from Kansas City on 01/05/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked everything about this bra but it chafed my skin on my sides, even after washing.
By Molly from Madison, WI on 01/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Support, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Best Uses: Gym, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this to take on a mission trip to Guatemala (later this month) where the weather will be 90-95F. I've worn it for exercising and like it. Shaping is nice in the cups since so many sports bras just flatten you out.
By Susan from Denver, CO on 12/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Support Best Uses: Cycling, Gym, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This sports bra provides firm support for high impact excercise. I also appreciate the back hooks instead of having to wrestle into it over my head.
By Hiker chick from Cambridge, MA on 12/23/2008 Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I recently purchased this bra, so I haven't had much chance to use it yet. The best reason to buy it is to have a serious sports bra you don't have to pull off over your head when it's all sweaty! But keep in mind, to get decent compression and support, that means you have to pull it pretty darn tight to close the hooks.
Mostly I wanted to comment on the fit, since 34BC is listed under both sizes SM and MED in the sizing chart, and 36B is under both MED and LG. I can wear either a 34C (last hook) or 36B (first hook). I ordered the MED larkin first, and wow is it snug (very high compression but does fit). I can't imagine that I'd be able to get the small on! I may keep the MED for high impact use (now that I've tried on the LG for comparison). I did also order the LG looking for more comfort. The cup space on the LG is much bigger, and the band is too loose for me to achieve high compression. It's easier to get on and looks fine, but leaves a little more jiggle. It would be fine for elliptical or light workouts, but I might reach for the MED for anything really bouncy.
A word about style-- it comes up a little higher and has a little more coverage than I usually prefer for maximum ventilation. The way the compression is achieved also means it doesn't feel as soft or forgiving as softer lycra, pull-on styles. It feels more like a regular support bra, maybe a little stiff. Nonetheless, I have high hopes for this one as an openable sports style that might be suitable for some "hybrid" wear.
By Michelle from Boston, MA on 12/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Support Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this bra. I have run 5 marathons in a Larkin Bra. (It doesn't make me faster but it is super supportive). I bought a bunch off of this website because of the affordable price and they are a discontinued style. However, one warning, if you are a profuse sweater this may not be the ideal bra for you. My friend has the same one but she tends to get chaffed with it.
Well made but size is inconsistent By Canyonjo from Boulder, CO on 12/04/2008 Pros: Good Support, Snug Fit Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The cups feel right except cut a little high under the arms and there is enough support for high intensity activity. Curiously, even on the largest hook setting, it feels a bit too snug on my medium/large torso. I am keeping it and will use it, just beware that a true large may find it too tight.
Great support with lots of adjustment By Love to ride my horse from Raleigh, NC on 11/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love this bra - it offers support (that is hard to find for us small busted woemen). It has adjustable shoulder straps and hooks in the back.
