Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Layering, or alone. Keeps neck warm, which, next to your head, is most important in feeling warm. Could have a better fit if it had a slightly different cut...like an additional panel / seam in armpit. I like the close fit, so it is not dangling or in the way, but this is a bit restrictive.
