By rexamillion from san diego on 04/16/2009 Cons: Not nearly warm enough Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This "expedtion" weight shirt isn't even as warm
as my medium weight "Medalist" brand.
By PAC man from Boise, Idaho on 04/13/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the Large and I hope it doesn't shrink. I have found a large in other thermal underwear to give me plenty of room, but this fits pretty snug. It is also more bulky than other sets that I have.
Toasty warm at expense of fit and finish By ayewillie from Northern Vermont on 03/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Toasty warm Cons: Awkward fit, Loses shape Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Sitting around the house Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are toasty warm as base layer. Not something I would wear out to the movies (unless the theater is cold) A little style would go a long way. I've layered this on and off on a number of 6 hour romps up and down mountains in cold to cool weather and it works well.
By Joeball from South Jersey on 03/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: nice for March days on golf course
By Slooper from Seattle on 03/16/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Layering, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Works pretty well as a wicking underlayer on the coldest days of winter biking to/from work in Seattle. Looks and feels a pretty plastic-y, and the inside surfaces stick together so it's a little hard to dry and put on, but on the whole it works fine.
By wdave from Long Island, NY on 03/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Exercise walking, Layering Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice as a base layer but odd shape - long sleeves, short body. Large is really a med-large.
By False Start from Gulfport, MS on 03/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Excellent product.
Not a great product. Sizing is awkward By JB from Alexandria, VA on 02/27/2009 Cons: Poor Craftsmanship, Stiff material Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The quality of the material seemed cheap. Feels stiff and not soft. Not very comfortable. It does not look fitting like the picture. I am a size small for sure in mens and the sleeves are way too short. The fit over my body is fine but the sleeves dont even go down to my wrists. Looks and feels awkward.
Good Value. Hope it works at 20 below. By DrJBS from Flagstaff, AZ on 02/26/2009 Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Cold Weather base layer.
