Warm feet and no bunching By BB Boarder from San Francisco, CA on 03/10/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Soft Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Our favorite time to be snowboarding is when it's blizzarding and cold outside. As much as I love the snow however, I've never been able to keep my feet warm. These Smart Wool socks are the first socks that keep my feet warm, dry and comfortable without a lot of bulk. I also have a very high instep and through a day of snowboarding, other socks would bunch up in my arch - - - not so with these. I would very highly recommed these.

My son tried them out for a hockey practice and they are GREAT! Wick away sweat and smell, and now have bought a few pairs.

I think they're a bit thin, but hey; that's what they said on the package. Ha, so I should have paid attention. Anyway... I'm rambling... I really enjoy these socks. I have used 'em a couple of times snowboarding, and they do the trick. I like them alot. I would recommend them. For Pete's sake; they're Smart Wool. Of course I like 'em.

I don't actually plan on snowboarding with these. I just wanted good long socks and the strategically placed padding for snowboarding is good for extra wind protection. I love these socks.
