I own some of the Acorn Polartec socks and like
them so much that I bought these for my nieces, who live in another state. They have the socks now, but I don't think they have had a chance to try them. I believe that when they grow to fit the socks (which were ordered a bit big so that they would not miss out on them), they will really enjoy them!

His comment-- "They're toasty!" They are a great alternative to slippers and he can wear them straight to bed. Beware, though, that they do not have a non-skid bottom and are very slippery on hardwood floors and tiled surfaces, etc. For him, though, that's a plus -- he can "ski" and spin with ease!

I have 2 pairs for myself and bought them for my kids and my husband - they are great! Just wish they have some sort or rubber on the bottom to prevent slipping on the floors!

The sock fits loosely and the seams are a little annoying. The sock only comes mid-way up the calf (not long enough when you're cold!). On the plus side, I think this is a great sock to use as an extra layer in a pair of snow boots.
I didn't think they stayed that warm (not good if your feet sweat). Terry cloth interiors are the only kind of sock that I've found that actually wisks sweat away and keeps my feet warm.
