By wyowalker from Moorcroft, WY on 03/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this top as a mid-weight base layer when I'm snowshoing or cc skiing in sub-zero weather. It fits snug and has a smooth outer surface that slips on easily under another fleece or sweater. In warmer temps it's perfect by itself. The wicking is excellent and it's very soft against the skin. It's perfectly proportioned for me (size large), but if you don't want a snug fit you may want to order a larger size. I like it so much that I've ordered another.
By the ski mom from Co. Springs, Colorado on 03/07/2009 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt is great for warmth, but it pills terribly. My daughter is a ski instructor and we are on the slopes every weekend. On those very cold winter days, espically when there is wind, this is the ticket. This is our second one, even with the pilling. She borrowed mine one day, so then I had to order another for myself! She claimed it for the warmth. Good shirt!
By penguin from Lansing, Michigan on 02/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great layering piece. Is great under skiing top. Wish it was made in the US.
Ok Somewhat of a disappointment By Marzerk from Silver Spring, Md on 02/02/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The article had an odd odor to it that came out after washing. I had previously purchased multiple pairs of the matching pants which I love. The shoulders fit rather weird, but I kept it to wear around the house this winter under other tops. The pants are great and I wish I was as happy with this top.
By Popcycle from North Carolina on 01/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: sleep in it on very cold nights.
By BARGAIN HUNTER from SEARCY, AR on 01/28/2009 Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: WELL WORTH IT!! REAL WARM & COMFORTABLE!!
By Not So Sweet Sue from NE Iowa on 01/28/2009 Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Good fit, stylish, but way too heavy to use as a base layer. Did some snow shoveling, and I was really glad that it was moisture wicking because I sweated a LOT!! Fabric is kind of strange, shiny & smooth on outside, brushed on inside, so it would be hard to wear this as an outer layer. Hmmm. If I ever end up on a fishing boat in Alaska in the winter, I'm all set. Another purchase that will probably go to Goodwill.
It smells like cat litter By dianek from Milwaukee WI on 01/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Looks and feels great, but the smell is really odd. I may return it if airing it out doesn't work. I swear, it really does smell like cat litter. I bought the Terramar pants in the same material and didn't have this problem.
GREAT- cuts wind wicks sweat By hillie fillie from Oakland, CA on 01/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear this casually b/c it is smart looking and soft but I also compete in Eventing- (equestrian tri-athalon) the wicking and wind resistance (though not advertised as wind resistant) is good for cross country portion where I sweat and go fast! I also really like that the neck zip has a fleece flap to cover the end so it doesn't poke me in the neck or chin. GOOD detail for active use.
Warm, comfy with a bit of stretch By Lil Ms E from Mill Valley CA on 12/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Gym, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For a large I would say its not too big and it should be on me. I wear another tshirt underneath and it fits just right but I am normally a med -
The arms just reach so be warned. I washed it and line dried to make sure it doesn't shrink.
I wear it with a vest - no jacket and it works great. Perfect weight for that
