excellent cold weather baselayer By Z the cyclist from Portland, OR on 11/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Gym, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this piece, and bought a lot of them. You can wear it repeatedly without it developing a bad odor. Dries quickly and I use it everyday. I own merino baselayers from the premium brands as well, but this one is a great bargain with good fit and very good overall quality. I found the craftsmanship surprisingly good.

By dac from Spokane WA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Best Uses: Cold Weather, Daily base layer, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I tend to use this product as a base layer in daily activity. It responds to changing temperatures and activity levels well. One thing that is annoying is that when the zipper is "up", it tends to bunch/bulge outwards a bit away from my neck. My husband and I own several of these, and it's a consistent problem. We usually have them unzipped a bit to avoid looking odd.
Sheep know how to keep warm! By Beeman from Santa Barbara, CA on 03/05/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Does not smell after hike, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Great Base layer Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this product as a base layer in cool and cold weather. It works so well that I am thinking of moving to Moreno wool clothing for my LW backpacking trips.
By smartshopper from East Idaho on 02/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband uses it to wear under his shirts. When it was -30 outside he was in a non-insulated warehouse in the evening. He could see his breathe. He had on his woolskin shirt under another long sleeve shirt with no coat and said he was warm. He is between XL & L. He likes it snug so he wears a L.
By Jim G from San Francisco, CA on 01/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just bought two of these in the Medium size. I'm 5'10", 145lbs, and wear a size 38 suit jacket. Although the medium size says it's for 36-38, they fit more like size Large. What's more, one of the shirts I received is much larger/longer than the other -- perhaps it was mislabeled? At any rate, at least one of these is going back for exchange, either for another of the same size (hopefully better fit) or perhaps I'll try the Small. Otherwise, these seem quite nice. A bit on the thin side, perhaps...makes me wonder how they'll hold up over time.
