By Addie from Butte, MT on 01/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Very Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the one problem i have with the product is that the torso area of the shirt is not long enough. i like tops to go a few inches below my natural waist and the top rides a little high for me.
By regazza from up-upstate NY on 01/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I become cold very easily and need to wear layers of clothing at work, home and play. With wool for the first layer I can wear this at my sedentary workplace and then go outside and maintain steady body temp with few additional layers. Easily machine washable, hang dry.
Yarns not as soft as other brands but not irritating.
tumble dry low to shrink if needed By merinofreak from rainy rainforest, oregon on 01/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I shrunk a large to a perfect medium size by tumble drying once on low heat. Now it's close to the body but not tight. These shirts are true to size, not like the smallish icebreaker sizing. I agree that the shirt is a little more scratchy than icebreaker. grammici is by far the softest. Tumbling did not affect quality at all, as far as I can tell. (oh goodness, it's new year's day and all I can think of is write a review on STP. Happy NY.)
By easily chilled from New Ulm, Texas on 12/27/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great base layer, and pretty enough to peel down to if the weather indoors is warm.
Shrinks, falls apart in wash By likesshoes from Sacramento, CA on 12/18/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Snug Fit Cons: Itchy, Shrinks in wash beware Best Uses: Not useful can't wash it Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This was a slightly itchy but well fitting shirt that shrank and nearly disintegrated with one wash according to the label. I am returning.
Not recommended!
Nice but a little scratchy By Alissa from Columbus, OH on 12/15/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Layering, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are light like silk thermals, but made from merino wool. They are a little scratchy. I'm not that sensitive to wool, and I am fine with them, but someone with very sensitive skin would probably find them uncomfortable. Other than that, these are great for running and cycling in cold weather under regular or fitness wear.

They are thin, making them perfect for even layering under dress clothes. Best of all, they are machine wash and dry!
